Play Idea’s For Your Dog
Entertainment for your dog -Lock your dog inside while you hide raw hides or meat/raw chicken wings in the garden or doggy sandpit (sandpit just for raw hides). One of my clients freezes Jimbos chicken mince in a Kong and it entertains her dog for two to two and a half hours, whilst it licks it out.In summer, homemade ice bricks floated in a ‘blue shell’ paddling pool. Dogs often follow the ice brick around to get hold of them.Frozen stock in an ice cream container with favourite toys or more tasty treats trapped inside. Then this can be removed and floated in the paddling pool as a ‘iceberg’ or chased around and scraped at on the concrete.*Remember to roughly take off the quantity of treats, off the quantity your dogs would normally eat- as they may end up a tad overweight if the above activities are done regularly otherwise ;-)
